Natural coals made from coconut shells, lit on a burner, that hold heat for a long time.

Coconut coals are made from coconut shells. They usually come as cubes or flats.
They take longer to light (on a burner or coal heater), but have no lighting additives, so they do not affect the taste. They are generally the recommended choice.
